Boston Harbor Wall Clock

A natural estuary in the bay of Massachusetts, Boston Harbor is home to one of North America’s most prominent and historic ports. The harbor lies in the middle of its protector landmarks that surround the Massachusetts Bay and the massive Atlantic Ocean. These areas include the help of Deer Island just toward the north and the Winthrop Peninsula. Toward the south, there’s the hook shaped Nantasket Peninsula and Point Allerton. Measuring in at fifty square miles, with shorelines that extend 180 miles, the harbor itself is made up of 34 islands and is often referred to as a split between an inner and an outer harbor. The Boston Harbor brings in tourists and history buffs alike from all corners of the world; the waterfront alone includes nearly 40 miles of bike friendly, pedestrian area and a plethora of interesting and entertaining attractions. From the Long Wharf harbor cruises, the New England Aquarium, and the Christopher Columbus Park that’s been around since 1976, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.
