Philadelphia

Philadelphia is the largest city in Pennsylvania, widely known by its nickname, "The City of Brotherly Love." Philadelphia is really the city of firsts, home to the first medical school, first hospital, first zoo, first daily newspaper, and it was also the nation's first capital. It is a hub for early American Revolutionary history, home to both the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were singed). It is also a city that is known for its huge art culture with over 2000 outdoor murals and more Impressionist paintings than any city outside of Paris. Home to the Phillies, the Flyers, and the Eagles, Philadelphia is also a big sports town. No Philly roundup would be complete without mentioning the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art aka the Rocky Steps, where Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa runs triumphantly to the top and thousands of visitors replicate every year!
